Math should be interesting and fun! The use of technology to increase your skills should engage you and broaden your knowledge!
Using technology in math class to enhance investigations is a goal of our classroom. I endeavor to facilitate student learning by implementing interactive websites and multimedia applications to each day's lesson. I believe students become more engaged, reach higher levels of critical thinking, and actively participate in the lesson when technology is utilized!
Implementing
technology is not always an easy process. Finding
the
necessary sites that parallel and extend each lesson can be a daunting
and time consuming task. Thankfully there are many interactive sites
available to those students with Internet access. It is my intent to
link many of them to this site so you spend less time searching for
sites.

The links on this page and following pages are ones I have utilized in the past to implement mathematics to middle school students on a laptop team. Each student carries a laptop to their core classess and teachers are encouraged - and expected - to have students working on their laptops. This does not also necessitate the Internet as students use PowerPoint and Inspiration for many applications in mathematics.
